Just This Old Sweet Song, Keeps Berries On My Mind...

That has been going through my head with Georgia On My Mind stuck in a loop, only it's all about berries baby, it's all about berries.

I picked up 4 more flats of Marionberries, and 2 more flats of raspberries today. I'm getting ready now to start my jam-making process. The guy at the market told me that boysenberries and loganberries should be in next week so I know what I'm doing then!

Today is my only day of the weekend, tomorrow I'm putting in a half day at Sears. This is a good thing since I need to get a BUNCH of work done on my folks car so it's ready when they get back down here from Alaska in the fall.

I also need some more clothes for work, so I'll have to force myself to go shopping.

Yes, I do actually have to force myself. I HATE clothes shopping with a passion. I would much rather be at the Farmers Market, Farm Supply Store, local nursery, Home Depot, Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack, or another store with big kid toys (the G-rated variety) than clothing. Heck, I'd rather shop for a car than for clothes!

OK, I'm off to make jam.

    Thimble berries? Salmon berries?

    this sounds all entirely too delicious

    as for clothes shopping, i too used to be disgruntled about it but now i've developed an addiction for buying uber cheap vintage/retro and designer clothes off trademe (kiwi version of ebay). argggh, i can't stop! at least it's an environmentally friendly way of clothes shopping and i'm paying next to nothing for topnotch gears
