It has been a busy-busy-busy day. I worked this morning, then came home and did bills, worked on the house with the twins, ran to Hollywood Video and the store for giant sandwiches and ice, and then ran to pick up one of their friends (of whom I was assured only lived about 20 minutes away, which equals 60 real minutes). We got home and the party commenced. Both Hubby and I have to work in the morning, and #2 has a function he has to go to, so the party didn't last too late (about 3 hours or so). I ended up driving three of the guests home. We left the house at 8:45 to take everyone home, and I didn't get back until 11:15.
I had been drinking Pepsi Max all evening to make sure I stayed awake for the drive, and now I'm wide awake and jittery. Not the best shape to be in when I want to be going to sleep! I took a melatonin, in the hopes that it will override the caffeine, and I suspect in about 20 minutes I'm going to be sleepy, but jittery. It should make for an interesting night's sleep.
Boy am I going to be grumpy in the morning.
