All I can say is, WOW. Boy do I like this series, and I may have to rent the first seasons and have a LOST marathon this weekend.

We all seem to have our jaws hanging open when we watch Lost. I don't know how they can tie up all the loose ends in 47 episodes.

I'm kinda on the fence right now with LOST.

I liked it better in the beginning.

But it is still WAY WAY WAY more interesting than some dumb cops and robbers show....

    Happy Birthday Twins!

RYC: We wound up going out for dinner last night so I didn't get to try the cabbage (I've never made it) but here's the recipe:

2 T. olive oil in large skillet over med. heat
    1 sm. head purple cabbage
    2 t. caraway
    2 t. paprika
    salt & pepper to taste

Shred cabbage & put into oiled pan. Add caraway, paprika, salt & pepper, stirring occassionally for 2-5 minutes.

Mix 1/4 c. course mustard and 1 c. apple cider, pour over mixture and stir for 1 minute. Turn off heat.

*I'm not sure about adding the mustard. I think I'll delete that little tidbit the first time I try it and I might sautee in some chopped onion while the olive oil heats.

As far as the fried apples go, I've been making them for so many years that I probably can't even begin to tell you specific quantities on anything.

coat medium pan with olive oil and heat on Med.
slice 4 medium apples into eighths
when oil is warm, add apples and cover for about 10 minutes then poke with a fork to see if they're getting tender. If they are, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. If you're feeling froggy, add some walnuts or pecans. Turn up the heat to about medium high and let the outsides get brownish, flipping the apples occassionally. Serve and enjoy!

    18? My youngest is 50. And I'm only 40. Well....I stopped counting at 40.
