Gobble-Gobble

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it today. Belated greetings to those who've already celebrated it, and a REALLY early good wishes to those down under who will celebrate their harvest in about 5 or 6 months.

We're celebrating with neighbors this year. We usually head down to SIL's, but this year their lives and our lives are moving on to create new forms of celebration. Our neighbors are having friends and family over, and have estimated that about 30 people (give or take) will be enjoying the festivities. Fortunately my neighbor has a REALLY big house, so everyone won't be elbow-to-elbow for the day!

Enjoy your meal everyone, and may heartburn be kept away, and the pounds kept off!

I remember Thanksgiving at my grandmother's house. All the relatives. The little kids had their own table in the kitchen, while the grown ups ate in the dining room.

I don't know why always at "Moms's" house because other aunts could accommodate everyone. I guess it was just tradition. And it was wonderful.

    Happy Gobble to you too.

    Bless
