Multi-purpose Celebration
Fri Nov 16 2007

Today is #3's 14th birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY #3! We will be taking the family out to dinner after Hubby, #3 and #1 get home from a doc appointment. We will then be going to catch a movie as per his wishes. I can't remember which one, so it will be a surprise for me!

We went to dinner last night to celebrate a success for #2, so between last night and tonight, there are no dinner dishes (which is cause for me to celebrate!). The kitchen is CLEAN and I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

I worked all day today, while Hubby was home with the kids. I came home to the house clean and decorated for #3; presents on the table with a chocolate cake and one GIANT candle in the middle of it. It seems we are out of birthday candles, so the kids grabbed one of the candles I keep in reserve for when we lose power. Good thing it isn't one of my scented candles... the cake might taste strange if it were!

I work again all day tomorrow, but I'm hoping we can make a trip to the Y tomorrow evening. I could really use the jacuzzi there for about an hour, my back is not happy with the shoes I've been wearing lately.

I suspect new work shoes will be on my Christmas list.

I can't remember if I mentioned it, but the twins both did well on their test earlier this week. #1 got an 81% and #2 got an 85%. They both currently have solid B's in both Algebra and English.

OK, time to to find Motrin to see if I can quiet down the screams coming from my back.

RYC: I can't freeze THAT much turkey, lol. We talked about that but it really is just too much. If it was a 10# bird I would consider it.

Back screams? Oh, I relate. That's why I'm in physical therapy. A tip from my therapist might help with the back. When standing we tend to go swayback, and that ain't good. He says "Tuck the butt, suck in the gut." Which leaves me with a slight pelvic thrust, and the swayback gone. I takes a lot of practice to maintain proper posture. But it pays off in less back strain.

I sent happy birthday greetings earlier. Did he get all the goodies he wanted?

Hey, the teacher gets some credit for those text scores, y'know. Congrats!
