Wow!
Mon Nov 19 2007

I’m not sure how we managed it, but somehow Hubby and I managed to get all kids and ourselves in bed and asleep by 9:00 last night. I woke up at 6 this morning better rested than I’ve been in ages. It was WONDERFUL! It’s now a little after 8, and the twins are still in bed. I’m not sure about asleep, but they haven’t gotten up for the day yet. I’ll give them until I’m done with this entry before becoming more forceful about getting them out of bed.

Hubby and I made a trip to Costco yesterday (with #2 in tow for manual labor), and by the time we left the shelves were much lighter, our truck much fuller, and our bank account much emptier! As a result, the pantry and freezer are now full almost to the point of bursting. Other than perishables we should be good for a while. This also finished our 3-Ways for 3-Days kit. We are set!

OK, time to get the kids out of bed, one way or the other! Now, where did I put that pitcher of ice water?

OK, did you make it to bed, or did you face the day? Do you realize you had NINE hours of sleep. Do you have a magic word for uninterrupted sleep? I'll give you my left arm for the word!

    Bless

Does bottled water count as being ready?

    I have wheat!

That HAS to count for something in the preparedness area....

    Right?

    ;-)

I love those massive big shopping trips and looking at how full the cupboards are for weeks afterwards!

LOL! I know what you mean - there are days when I just do not want to change out of my pajamas. The only benefit I can say for that is that I work from home...who would know that I am still wearing my pajamas? Ok, I am going to get busy now...honestly, I am...going now. LOL!

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
