I Need Momentum In Order To Lose It
Fri Aug 17 2007

WA has an entry about needing to continue her tasks before she loses momentum. I need to do a LOT of things today, but haven’t gained enough momentum in order to start. I suppose I’ve lost my momentum before I ever got going.

Hubby and #2 come home tomorrow, so I need to clean #2’s room today while he is still gone. I have a strong feeling that I will be taking 3 or 4 large garbage bags of stuff out from his room before I’m finished with it.

I also need to clean my desk and pay bills today. This is another task I need to gain momentum in order to do.

Speaking of paying bills… if there is enough money still in the account when I’m finished, I really need to buy new shoes. My current shoes are just not cutting it. My feet are so sore and bruised at the end of the day that I definitely need to make a change in my footwear. #1 also needs shoes, so if the funds allow we will be going shoe shopping together. How many mothers can say that about their straight son?

Needless to say, #1 has rolled his eyes at the prospect of going shoe shopping with me. He recognizes that he needs shoes though, so he is willing to go shoe shopping with me.

hee hee. Shoe shopping with straight boys is an oxymoron.
I find if I do one thing, that gets the momentum started and I have to keep going. Go! :)

I can think of a room or two around here that would benefit from a deep cleaning like that, but after reading about it I think I'll leave it for someone more energetic. :)

You should try shoe shopping with girls. Now that is a real chore. They are picky, picky, picky.
I cleaned out grand daughter's room with her 'help' and we got 2 large bags of garbage.
Thank goodness the bags were strong, heavy duty bags. Coming down the steps would have been a mess.
    Have a good day.
