What To Do? What To Do?
Sat Aug 11 2007

I've got a list of To Do things as long as the Mississippi, and enough lethargy within me to do none of them.

Actually, I'm working on one of them now. Tomatoes. I've got them on the stove softening up, getting ready to put them through the food mill then boil down to make sauce. I intended to put up a lot more than I actually have, but funds prevent me from buying as much as I wanted. I'll be satisfied to put up the few pints I get from the 15-or-so pounds of Romas I picked up the other day.

I have the rest of today and tomorrow off, then it's back to the grindstone on Monday. I guess I'd better get the laundry done so I have something to wear. I think they would frown on me going to work in my personal choice of clothing instead of the required white, black or khaki clothes. Personally I would wear jeans and a comfortable shirt, but that's not an option.

Oh well. I'll go back to comtemplating some lint on the carpet until it's time to attend the tomatoes again.

Ah yes, the never ending list.
I had to laugh at the thought of #1 innocently carrying boxes in until they realised there was an extra person!
I've seen a family of 10 live in a 2 bedroom townhouse unit here. VERY cramped and VERY noisy :)

I bought a bunch of Romas for my Grandma's Famous Stew, but not enough to make sauce. That's still in the future.

After portioning the stew into serving size containers, I had some left over, and combined some bean soup with the GFS. Now it's up to the microwave.

#1 just insinuated himself into the moving process, and it took them how long?? to realize he was a stranger?

    Hmm.

    Bless the day

You got mice outside. You gonna have mice inside. Rent-A-Mouser is a good idea.

Mice outside beats mice inside any day but yeah, one usually leads to the other. Took us a month to hunt down our little guest and he was brought inside BY the cat!

Ripley: I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
