Hubby and #2 have been out doing the Civil Air Patrol since about 7 this morning. It's 5:00 now, and it looks like they won't be home for a few more hours. I'm about to gather #1 and #3 together to go find dinner for the three of us. #3 has just chimed in with the comment "I'm thinking McDonalds".
I worked this morning and early afternoon, and #1 was working with his volunteer group at our local farmers market. #3 spent the morning perfecting his video game playing skills and making sure the dog didn't eat any furniture.
Sounds like today has been a typical boring weekend day in the house of Allimom.
Hubby and I went to see Pirates yesterday when he came home early from his CAP activities. It was... OK. Lots of special effects, lots of recycled jokes, a dash of suspense and a load of things that could have been left out. I'm glad we only paid matinee prices.
