A Day In The Life

While I haven’t gotten to the point where I’m spamming my resume out to every company within a reasonable commute, I have stepped up my job search. I’ve sent my resume out to a few different companies, some of them are my dream positions that I have about the same chance of getting as a snowball has in a very warm place, but a couple are reasonable positions. Only time will tell if I get any nibbles to the hooks I’ve sunk.

Not much else going on. The part time work at Sears has become VERY part time, with only 10 hours a week being the norm for the past few weeks (including the jury duty weeks that I swapped out with the other girl that works there on the days I didn’t have to report for duty.).

Frankly, that’s not doing it for me. We’ve had a few things come up in the Allimom household lately that are getting to the point where they will soon be demanding more income. #1 potentially getting his license later this summer is one of those things, and the price of gas is another. Are these prices NUTS or what?????

OK, time to go make sure everyone has clean underwear for tomorrow. While it’s tempting to just go buy new… I can’t put off washing the old any longer darn it!
