Exposing Myself
Fri Nov 17 2006

I decided to come out of hiding. Going private only gave the thorn in my side what he/she/they wanted and I've decided to just ignore any further comments and e-mails from said person(s).

For some reason, my title this evening has me thinking of the poster from almost 30 years ago, Expose Yourself To Art.

It's not even 9:00, and I'm ready to go to sleep. I have school bright and early in the morning, but can't print out my homework for that class until I buy more printer paper. Silly me didn't notice that the package of paper I thought was printer paper was actually notebook paper. It just goes to show that I shouldn't try to make any decisions until after I've had caffeine some mornings!

#2 is at a Marksman camp for the weekend for CAP, #3 is enjoying a new video game he got for his birthday, and #1 is having a friend over to spend the night. Top that off with one of our neighbors having some difficulties with their car alarm (it has been going off continually for the last 10 minutes, and the children of the family are out in the driveway playing on and around the car, so maybe it should be considered difficulties with their children?). I suspect nobody in the Allimom household will get to bed early tonight, much to my chagrin.

Maybe if I give the kids all some Nyquil and tell them that it is juice?

OK, I wouldn't actually do that. Still, I suspect I'm going to be rather grumpy when I wake up early for school in the morning.

Thanks for the moral support. ;-)

That is a hilarious poster... I think I remember it.

I don't have unsupervised neighbor kids to contend with. But I do have unsupervised neighbors. I'd like to blow up their stereos.

Can you send some of that Nyquil my way as I suspect I'm going to need it tonight. I can't even write in my own diary as I don't feel like rehashing the whole thing all over again. I'd rather just forget it happened entirely.

RYN: I haven't ordered from that yarn store nor have I heard of them before. Doesn't mean much, there are loads of them out there. I would send them an email before I order from them as their home page talks about "new for Fall 2005" stuff and a pattern featured in the Fall 2005 IW Knits. If they haven't had new stuff to offer since then (or haven't bothered to correct/update their site) I would be a teeny bit concerned. See what sort of response you get first. (And I've got the 2006 fall issue of that mag - it must not be a typo as I can't find that kimono in the current issue.)
