Better and Worse
Thu Mar 23 2006

Today has been strange for me. While I feel better, as far as energy level and such - my symptoms of this bug are worse.

My head is just bordering on the tympanic stage of the cold, completely congested and if I get to moving around too much or too quickly I find I run out of breath quickly. While it would be nice to take a nap, I otherwise pretty much feel OK.

Rest unfortunately isn't in my schedule for the day. I need to go pick up #2 in a little bit and take him to where he will be doing his job shadow project for school, and then I need to go to school myself. #1 will be home alone for a couple hours until #3 gets back from school around 5 or so tonight. He is on something of a field trip with his class today, and fortunately for me his teacher is able to drop him off at home so I don't need to figure out how to be in two places at one time this afternoon.

For #2, when he is finished with his job shadow I will still be in class, so he is going to hang out in the bowling alley or library until I'm done. He will have Hubby's cell phone so I can get in touch with him to find out where I'm picking him up from.

This is going to be a busy afternoon! I'll have to plan to take a nap tomorrow as it definitely won't be happening today!

Whoever said that stay-at-home moms don't have "real" jobs never stayed at home with a stay-at-home mom.

Wouldn't it be handy if we could remove our heads when they're thundering? This has been going on long enough. GET WELL!!!

    Shalom
