I feel like I'm moving through a fog today. I feel awake, I feel alert, until I try to think or function. It is almost like a dream. I can see everything, and acknowledge everything around me, but it is all surreal. Maybe I need to imbibe in mass quantities of caffeine.
I've been talking with my Bro and SIL about this diet they've been doing. SIL started out in a tight size 12, and is now in a size 6, and some things in size 4. I definitely need to look into that!
Maybe I'll go take a nap. I need to do something so I can engage in life today.
I've decided I need to find a different place for my family to live. I suppose Camelot would do in a pinch.
I need a place where it is sunny all day, and it rains only at night 3 times a week or so.
I need a place where the summer never gets above 75 degrees F, and the winter never dips below 55 degrees F. At the same time, it needs to be near some mountains so when I do want snow, it is only a short drive away.
This place needs to also be near the ocean. A view would be nice, but not necessary, as long as it is close by.
This place needs to be close enough to a city that it is convenient, but far enough away that there is no noise or pollution noticeable. Crime would be something unheard of in this place.
This place needs to have great schools for my kids, and lots of other kids their ages nearby for them to socialize with. Quiet happy neighborhoods to live in where all the yards are extremely spacious and you don't feel like your houses are built right on top of each other. The homes all would have front porches, and large trees with tire swings in the front yard. A local creek, pond or small river would supply a swimming hole that all the kids and a handful of adults would congregate to during holidays and on the warmer days of the year.
Neighbors would all smile and wave at each other, and the only time a fire truck or police car would be seen in the area would be during the yearly 4th of July parade winding through the streets.
I need to find this place, and move my family to it.
