Not necessarily because we are out of food (although that does contribute to the need), but because we only have 2 plastic bags left.
Plastic grocery bags never go unused in my house. Between being used as liners in our small waste baskets, the kids using them to transport various items to and from school, the elimination of Land Mines in the back yard, and being brought along on walks to take care of piles, we go through a LOT of plastic grocery bags in my house.
I'm rather tempted to have #2 ride his bike up to the store after school today and liberate a bag of bags that our store collects for recycle. That would get us through until Friday when we get paid and I make a run to the store for my payday shopping trip.
