Mornings Are Never Dull Around Here
Wed Sep 28 2005

That's for sure.  Today is the first morning in quite a while that the twins got off without a screaming match between them while they were getting ready.  #2 usually is an early waker, while #1... not so much.  This causes problems, because no matter how many times I tell #2 to leave #1 alone, he just can't seem to do so.  He feels that it is his responsibility to help get his brother up and going.  He has gotten grounded for this on more than one occasion, but that hasn't stopped him from trying to help his brother in unwelcome ways.

Boys.

I don't remember having these kinds of problems with my brother in the mornings, but then again, we were always in different schools and were getting up and ready at different times.  I guess that doesn't count eh?  Besides, we made up for the mornings in the rest of the day.

Hubby's dog (she is only my dog when she behaves) had me up every other hour last night.  I miss the few days last week where she only had me up once a night.  That came to a halt when I stopped taking her for a walk at 11.  Hubby doesn't want me out that late alone, and putting her out in the back yard is never long enough for her to decide to take care of as much business as possible.  The walks worked in that aspect.  Having her up and moving tended to get everything moving in her and she usually came back to the house on empty.  Oh well, eventually we will get through this.  I'll just plan to be tired until then, and hope that the time comes soon!

I've got one who has deemed it his responsibility to step in and correct his brother on just about everything. Gee, can you guess who? LOL

Last night is was about about sneaking soda pop. The thing is I know he was right about the sneakiness, but ever so wrong in the way he handled it.

He just makes matters worse and then I have to get all over him. Can't seem to get it through his head to wait and let me do my job. Boys! *sigh*

It must be going around. I'm out of plastic sandwich bags. And those quart sized ones.... what did we DO before those things were available?
