Goodies

I went shopping today, and on the way home an invisible force compelled me to stop at the nursery. It also forced me to buy a blueberry bush, two raspberry bushes, and a honeysuckle for myself. I had #2 with me, and while there I bought him the rosebush I promised him last year.

He chose a rose named Aromatherapy . The description was such that both of us were quite interested in adding it to the yard. Hopefully I’ll be able to post some pictures of it in bloom when the time comes. This is #2’s rose, and he understands that he needs to care for it. I’ve printed off a bunch of how to rose articles for him so he will be prepared to do what is needed when it is needed.

I’m hoping to add a climbing rose to the yard eventually, but I’m not ready to do that yet. While I’m most likely going to end up getting a Blaze or Don Juan, I want to see what else is out there before I make any final decisions. There are certain fragrances I would like to bring into the yard, and I want to find just the right thing and not just go with a rose I’m familiar with.

Your yard is going to be so beautiful. I will want to come see it when you have things blooming.
My beeding hearts are going crazy right now. I planted them along the back of the house last year and they seem to love where they are.

Ah.. roses.. I love roses. I wish I could grow some but I haven't had any luck getting them to grow up here.
