Posey Thoughts

Last year #1 found three little wooden planters at a garage sale for cheap and got them for me. Yesterday I went and got flowers to stuff them with. They are now flower stuffed and setting between two other planters on my front porch.

I’m now going to use the empty pots the flowers came out of from the store to put some of the seeds I started in. They are getting too large for where I have them now, but both they and I are not ready for permanent transplant yet. Hopefully this will do the trick until Hubby can get my raised beds in.

Spring is all around me, and I’m so ready to be doing more than I already am. Unfortunately we are still having frost in the mornings, so I can’t do all I want yet.

I think cotton yarn WILL take dye. (Haven't tried it myself, but from what I understand it will. It may also be vulnerable to washing out though. Do a test.
I got my wool yarn for this bag at Joann's.
They carry Lion Brand Fisherman's wool. It's the ONLY 100% wool yarn I could find outside of the yarn specialty store.

Cotton yarn will take dye, but you have to be particular about the dye. I think RIT dyes would be fine. Kool-aid not wash out but fade a great deal. :o)
