Moved In
Thu Mar 17 2005

We are mostly unpacked, but most importantly we are moved in.

It has been an interesting week. The cable company was supposed to be here on the 9th to hook us up with cable and internet, but somewhere the wires got crossed and they didn't get us in the schedule. They were here yesterday to get us up and running, and for our inconvenience we got the installation charges dropped and a $20 credit applied to our bill. I can deal with that.

Of course that means I missed Survivor last week and this week (as we didn't know it was on last night until the end of the show). Anyone who saw it, can you fill me in on what happened?

Now I'm off to unpack more boxes. Yippie!

Congratulations on getting IN your house!

Nice score on the cable bill there... :-)

Sorry, can't help you with Survivor. I usually only watch the first episode and the last one.

    I have issues. ;-)

Can't wait to see pictures of you all tucked up in your brand new house.

    Welcome home. :)

Survivor was very interesting last night. They only had one challenge; a reward. Both tribes had to go to tribal counsel and vote a member off. The winning tribe of the reward challenge got a meal after they voted off a member and then they got to sit in and listen to the loosing tribe's counsel and vote. They also got to eat their meal in front of the loosing tribe.

The twist was that after listening to the loosing side's discussion and seeing them interact the winning tribe got to vote to give immunity to one of the loosing tribe members. It caught everyone off guard and there was no way for anyone to strategize as this was announced after the discussion.

The loosing tribe was Ulong again. The winning tribe voted off Willard and then gave immunity to Iebraham (sp) who was definately on the chopping block because he lost the challenge for them. Ulong then ended up voting off Angie.

It was a fun show with lots of suprises along the way. :)

I'm glad you are getting settled. We had to wait a whole month to have the phone turned on when we moved here. It makes me dread moving again for the same reason.

Glad you're getting all settled in and getting the computer back up and running. And hey, saved on charges for the inconvenience, that's a nice little bonus so long as you weren't feeling too put-out by their mistake. :)

    Peace, ~~bythesea

Congratulations on being in your new home.
Don't you love the 'newness' smell.
I did and I still remember it.
You are so lucky that the cable company worked with you, and credited you.
    Good for you!

    Honey

Oh, I love the feel of a new place. Absolutely dread the moving part, but unpacking and putting everything away--that's a happy activity.

''Gathering table'' or ''tall table'', either one sound like such a good idea. Perfect for parties, seems like.

    Hugs,
    Ani
