Report Cards

It is Report Card season in this neck of the woods, and a time of year I approach with trepidation. Historically speaking, this is a high stress season for my family.

While I haven’t gotten #1 & #2’s report cards, #3 brought his home today, and it TOTALLY ROCKS!!

His grades came in as follows:
Music – A+
Dance – A+
Art – B-
Reading – A
Math – B
Language – B+
Spelling – B+
Social Studies – A

We are holding a parade tomorrow in his honor. The twins are out back working on the floats as I write!

    And this kid has problems? you can't tell it by his grades.

    Wow that was a great report card. Hopefully the other two did just as well. My little one isn't to the report card stage yet. They don't give report cards in preschool just progress reports but his reports have been great so far.

    Since his grades are good, he may be acting out just to get attention from you, dad or both.
    This is what I am doing, I take five or more mins to let my girls tell me whatever they want to say.
    When they have my attention, they let it all out, then they go off to play by themselfs and they don't feel left out. It is not easy to sit there for as long as they need my attention, but I do it any way. It helps me to be a better listener and to understand them better.
    With all that I have to do, it is very hard for me to just sit and listen. Trust me, it is good training. lol
