No, he won't be getting a boat, or a jet. Despite being in the Air Force, he is not a flier (much to my relief!).

While this is not true for all of them, the fliers tend to have ego's that are quite difficult to live with. At one time I remember hearing that of all career fields in the Air Force, the pilots/copilots had the highest divorce rate. Yep, I'm glad Hubby is not a flier!

I much prefer him as a computer hacker! We can geek together, and for exciting dates we go to Radio Shack!

Oh well. I think that if you don't get a boat with the title that it can't be nearly as much fun as it first sounded. Maybe you should buy him a nice little model boat for Christmas.

I've been talking to Kody (*gs) about the Air force more and more. To my way of thinking this is the best branch of service for him. They offer great incentives and such. Collage.. just a good deal.. Not sure if he is thinking in terms of future reality, but I bring up options to bounce around in his head anyway
    :P
Darnit.. I thought you'd have fun in a learjet..

I've heard that pilots have a really high divorce rate too. I heard Marines had a high rate too.

I wouldn't care as much if the bones came from a butcher but they were from target and they don't exactly sell quality pet supplies. The bone itself was cooked/baked that I bought. He didn't digest it at all and pieces of bone were coming out in his poop and he had the runs for days. I was worried that one was going to get stuck or one was going to tear his stomach or something like that.

Well, my congrats are late but heartfelt just the same! I've heard the same about the fliers. I keep picturing Tom Cruise in Top Gun...damn, he was hot, and yes, cocky (the character, the character!)

I used to have McKenzie brother figures. Little plastic things that you can find in toystores but they're like higher end than an action figure.

They don't have Strange Brew around here. I saw it when I lived in Canada. For some reason that just never leaked into Minnesota here (go figure).
