Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right...

...but three rights make a left.

I told the kids I was allergic to bad behavior. Bad behavior makes me yell, scream and gesticulate in a wild and erratic manner. The boys told me that they hate my allergies.

More planning has been going into the up and coming Family Christmas. After Dad heads back home Mom will be here for a few more days with the intent of visiting some family members and do some running around in the Portland area. I am hoping that Hubby will be able to get sufficient days off so I can join Mom in her venture. It would be nice to spend some time with her and get away from the house for a few days.

#2 has decided to quit the swim team. This came after a disagreement with his coach about what all he was required to do. I believe he misunderstood the instructions, and rather than get clarification he chose to argue with the coach. This of course led to him losing his temper and quitting. This is something we have talked with all the kids about. All three boys will partially listen to instructions, think they know what is wanted or required, and then meet those perceived needs. When they are corrected or told they are wrong or going about it the wrong way, they argue the point rather than ask for clarification. I’m DESPERATELY hoping this is something that will resolve itself as they get older.

The Christmas Party for Hubby’s work is tomorrow around noon. With there being multiple families there, and kids with their families, much planning has been going into this. We have donated (for the day) electronic gaming devices. We set them all up this evening and left all the “Rated E” games we have there for use tomorrow. We will actually be going down to his work around 7:30 tomorrow morning as Hubby is getting his new rank pinned on. The kids will do the pinning for him, and they are quite excited about this. #1 asked Hubby that since he is a Captain now, does that mean he gets a boat? We spent quite a while explaining the difference between a Navy Captain and an Air Force Captain.

Does that mean he won't be getting the boat?
