November? How Can It Be November?
Mon Nov 01 2004

OK, intellectually I know that since yesterday was Halloween today is obviously November 1, but I’m not ready for November yet! I’m not ready for October to be over. Heck, I’m not even ready for September to be over with yet.

Oh well.

My Friday night class, which was moved to Tuesday night, is being moved for this week so we can watch the election returns this week. I had been wondering about sneaking a peek at news sites on the internet during class tomorrow night, and now I don’t have to worry about it. This also gives me more time to finish the homework for the class I was unable to get to yesterday.

I had to laugh at the most recent word about Hubby’s promotion. Evidently it takes effect… tomorrow. One day too late for this paycheck. At least we are getting more definite information about it. I, of course, won’t believe it until I see it, but the latest word has Hubby being promoted tomorrow. There are continued rumors about back pay, which will be about $1200 (which with luck will cover most of Christmas), but like the promotion I won’t believe it until I see it.

The kids are off to school now, and I’m considering whether or not I want to go back to bed or not. While I definitely would like to get a few hours more sleep, I’ve got a ton of things to do. Maybe I’ll just go back to bed for an hour or so. That is something of a compromise between staying up or catching 2 or 3 more hours of sleep.

Or maybe I should just stay up and pay bills. Hmm, sleep or bills. Is that really a choice?

The hilarious thing for me - now, instead of laying awake worrying about stuff around here, I'm also worrying about the election. Ugh.

And if its November then (gasp) that means that Christmas is less than two months away. Yikes!

Depends on how urgent the bills are. Otherwise, I'd elect the back to bed choice.

They looked at irritable bowel when I was in the hospital last time. They also look at diverticulitis. I'm not sure if they looked for Chrons but I'm not sure that they looked for ulcers either. The run around the with the docters that I got was just amazing. Everyone was absoulty 100 percent sure it wasn't what the last person said. They figured the pain was endometriosis. But now I'm on the lupron shot for that so unless my organs fused together because of scarring (like one docter said they might have) then I should in theory be pain free. I haven't felt like this since I began the shots.

They don't think it's irritable bowel and those things becuase my bm's are jsut fine and regular. More imfo than you wanted I know. :)

Had to get my hugh fix in the morning before work.
