I was in church this AM, and we are on a End Times series.
He struck on a bit of some things, about how we are supposed to respond to such things as believers. And one area he covered was "Not to be fanatical" I think many christians dont realize how we can become fanatical over certain areas of christianity. Ive been guilty throughout my christian walk of it.
Arguing over clothing, music, holidays, friends, movies, churches, etc.
Im so glad Jesus didnt walk around in a Bubble. :)
Because it seems like so many people today think that is how we should live.
I think Ive found a church home. :) YAY! Its been awhile, undoing old teaching in my head, then visiting a very legalistic church for a time. I began to feel discouraged as to a place for myself to go. The words today were right on, they spoke of so many of the past areas in my life.
Its not about running around "Policing" everyone
Its not about reading scriptures to refute everyone else all the time.
Its about loving the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind. And loving your neighbor as yourself.
Who thought loving your neighbor could be so hard? Did you know its not just a literal next door neighbor, but your fellow man?
