It actually was a big part of my own therapy thru the past few years.
Thinking about how I was when I first started to write, and where I am now.
Why all the drama?
You know I was reading thru some. And I just had this moment where I smiled, and wanted to laugh. WHY?
Well if you think about it, most of us DD longtimers, have been a target at some point and under fire for similar reasons. Such as...
"Oh you arent who you say you are"
"That isnt true"
"That didnt really happen"
Blah blah blah
Hey Im not without having a finger pointed here!
Been there done that. Been the one to attack at one point also.
I mean cmon all of you DD Oldies, weve seen this enough times by now, yet this carries on when most of us knows how it feels.
And at the same time. I think it teaches a lot of us to care a little less (Or maybe A LOT less) about what others think of what we write.
Not all people were meant to be good friends or buddies. We dont all click. We need to respect eachother as human beings. But nobody forces you to come over and sit and have supper with that family behind the diary. Just as in the real world we have people we call our friends, some acquaintances, and well some we just dont call at all or avoid.
So to the original family I once new on DD and enjoyed,
