Well I went in for my lil Facial thingy today at the Spa.
Ive only gone in for massages, and a H gave me a few gift certificates in the past for body scrubs or body wraps.
I have never ever had a facial in my life. I think what made me want to get one was the massage girl telling me about it, then I was the gym reading a magazine one day about women and their skin, and acne.
I still get breakouts, but I can already tell since Im working out a lot more I break out less. I had heard that this can help with your skin. I also try to pretty much drink water all day until dinner.
So this one woman said that she gets facials every few mos and that has helped out with her complexion.
Sooo why not?

OMGOSH it was wonderful!
See Im thinking I go in and sit in some chair with some lady scrubbing my face with bright lights sorta clinical. I did get a package that came with a paraffin hand dip, and neck and shoulder massage. So Im thinking I will get a little brief rub during all this.
So my Appt is at 3:15. I walk in. The room is a soft yellow, with antique furniture and a sorta antique style japanese candle lantern. There is soft music. Im not sure what we are doing, Its got the sorta bed thing like you lay on for a massage.
She tells me "You can take off your shirt and bra and put on the wrap over there then lay down"
Im like "Wow dang, ok?" Guess Im getting the massage first?
She comes back in, and first we dipped my hands in the paraffin, she then puts the plastic over them to trap in the heat. I love how that feels, especially if your on a computer alot, the heat feels so good in your hands.
Then I have to lay down. She takes a sheet and wraps it around me. So Im sorta snuggly.
Then she proceeds to clean my face as Im laying on my back and she is behind my head. She does this for quite a while, in slow motions and circles, then takes a warm washcloth and wipes it all off. Then she puts something else on, and proceeds to massage my temples, and puts pressure on the tops of my eyebrow area, then my forehead. Omgosh I had goosebumps! It felt soo good. I was laying there with my eyes closed. Normally the massage girl and I talk when Im in, but this girl was pretty quiet, so I was just trying to totally relax.
Oh and I forgot! She had this little mist steam machine in front of my face that blew warm steam the whole time.
Then she applies this Alpha Hydroxy Peel its called.
Its kinda thick and pasty and tingles a little bit.
I have to have this on for 10 minutes. Then she proceeds to massage my neck and upper back shoulder area. OMGOSH it felt sooo good, the way she reached under and rubbed my upper back neck area. She has a lot firmer hand then the other girl I use. Which Im not a wussy when it comes to backrubs, I like a little deep pressure.
Then she moved down to my hands and removed the paraffin, and massaged lotion into my arms and hands giving me more massaging.
I was like YES YES YES ahhhhh.
haha, inside iM thinking this of course.
THEN! She asks me if I want a foot massage! Im like hell yeah!
I swear at one point I was hallucinating and seeing hands kinda like a Middle Eastern Girl waving around my head. She put a warm towel over my face and the room felt dark.
I said "Do people often fall asleep?" She said "Yes some people do"
I was feeling tired, but not like I was gonna fall asleep.
Then i realized, I was starting to drift out, and get a lil delirious and I almost started to speak thinking I was somewhere else.
She said she was going to be back in 10 min.
I really dont remember much else! HAHA! Thats freaky!
I just remember being unwrapped from the sheet and her saying "Ok your done"
I was out of it, just woken up, and I was like "Isnt it nigh nigh time?"
So I got up and just sat there for a minute, that was the most relaxing thing I had ever experienced in my entire life.
Im sorry but the massage girl I used before is fired. This girl was awesome.
I got up and went to restroom and just was trying to wake up a lil. Then walked out to the sunny bright front room.
I was like just driving home on a cloud.
If your stressed go pamper yourself with something like this, it felt sooo soo good.
