Well have been doing some research on personal retreats. Kinda hard to find a place ya know? If I were male Id just pack up and head for the mountains, but Im too chicken and dont find that wise nor safe alone.
I did track down a Abbey. I knew about it from Catholic High School. Even though I am not Catholic, I wouldnt mind visiting a monastery or something. Not that Im going to go become a Nun or anything ( lil to late for that anyways) But just somewhere quiet, out in nature. So I did find the website for this Abbey and they do have day personal retreats for $60. They also provide room, linens and meals.
Just dont know if it will be TOO Weird, its a place where Monks reside. I guess I need to go and drive out to where it is and have a look at it, its not too far away. Probably about a 20 min drive.
I did find a neat website though for tips on taking a Personal Retreat.

Since my little one is sick, I stayed home today, me and the youngest both went to sleep for awhile after we took oldest to school. Felt good to just sleep.
My little one said when I woke up "Mommy did you have a good nap?" aweee, its what I always ask him. Just cute hearing it repeated to me.
Since Ive been stuck at home, I finally got out my work out tapes. I need to go and buy some hand weights. I have 2 but they arent same weight. So need to have some sets to use.
I had never done the upper body workout tape. I always did the lower. BUt I got them as a package deal. So I quit being lazy since I couldnt get in the gym and put the tape on. It was good! Gave me some more education also, on shaping your body.
So I did the whole workout. YAY ME!
I got ahold of Mom. Shes going to come stay with the lil one so I can get my hair done today. Cool.
I just wish my little one was well. Im gonna feel all spunky with my hair all nice and pretty and I always getting it straightened. Yeah Im a show off. Its just nice to toss your hair and feel it, it feels so light! Normally all my curls are pinned up on my head.
H's boss gave him the Boundaries book to read. How ironic is that? I have the book, Me and Jen would talk about it also. It was recommended to me and H years ago with one of our counselors. But he never read it. His boss handed it to him.
H will return end of the month, and start a job in Beverly Hills. He brought this job before his current employer. H has done work for City of Bev Hills in the past, his boss called him in today giving him the Congrats, they job bid was accepted. And they now have their foot into the door for different types of work. I guess it was the Bosses first public bid to be accepted. He told H he did a good job.
Well must get in the shower, leave at 4 for hair appt.
