So I wasnt able to go back to work today. Called and they said just stay home it was fine.
So I was laying in bed and briefly fell asleep. I was woken by the telephone first time, confirming my hair appt tomm. EEsh, lemme sleep!
I lay back down and start to drift off again. While I was laying in my room I thought I heard some rustling on the ground outside my window. Sometimes cats or dogs out loose just sniff around.
So then my screen door rattles. Ugh whos here? My mom normally rings the doorbell.
I open up the door and there is my Boxer just sitting there looking at me. I smiled, Opened the screen door and in he walked. Ahh the gate must have come open. Sure enough!
I need to get it fixed. I had a new gate built. Its really nice, but after the rain its become warped and fits to tightly. Its hard to shut properly. And after the dog jumps against it numerous times to give his mailman I hear you warning. He jars it open more and more. Only thing is it shut behind him once he got out. So Im sure he sniffed the neighborhood a little, but was ready to come home.
Hes a big dog. And scary looking to, but I have learned that he doesnt run away. Hes been out before and seems to return home pretty quick.
Just found it cute he rattled the screen and wanted back in. Hes always stuck back there, but guess he likes us eh?
