Well back home. I smell good. Funny just cause of my hands and wrists. I had a manicure. But the woman who gives it does a hand massage, a hand sea salt scrub, paraffin dip, along with your nails, and she uses all natural products. So its really cool. She couldnt remember me and was racking her brain, then I said a few things about my last time in "Oh you were driving your boss right? She was getting acrylics huh? and she just remember stuff about me" I was like "Yeah wow good memory" Cause it had been months since I was in and that was only once. She said "So why did you come back after so long?" I said "Well life is stressful and I needed to do something special for myself' :) YAY ME!
Shes really cool she doesnt do acrylic nails, she is the only person who does just straight out manicures but does all these special things for the price. $15 and she will do all that I listed. Heck its $15 or so just for a paraffin dip at the massage place I went to before.
So she informs me she will be quitting after December. She has worked since she was 16 and wants more time with her kids so is ready to make the step. She is really sweet. She talked to me about how much she does like doing this job, how she had worked in retail before it but needed to get off her feet. So we talked about beauty school and all. She said she had her schooling done in 3 mos!
She then handed me her card again, and told me she will do it out of her home for people she trusts and all. She gave me her home #. YAY!
Things were slow in the salon today, so one of the girls doing hair across the way was talking about doing her hair curly versus straight. Aha, just the person I wanted to talk to, She has curly hair also. I wanted to ask more about getting my hair straightened so perfect timing. She just looked at me and said "CURLY is coming back, its in DONT MESS WITH IT" so I asked her about a different kind of cut for my hair. So we got into this big talk about hair and she took my hair out of the clip and had me all goofy looking. She is all "Oh wow you have the really curly hair that is fine but you have lots of it, and none of your curls are the same, they are different types" So she talked to me about the cut I should get, which is exactly what I was thinking. So next time I get a haircut I need to taper back the sides again, shorten the sides just a little around the face. Keep it blunt on the back.
She totally tweaked my hair. She apologized. See with my hair you have to comb it with a pic when its wet, and basically dont brush it all day, maybe run your fingers thru it is all, because brushing it frizzes the curl.
So got my nails all pretty, a soft baby type pink.
Then came home, changed, and headed to the gym. Time was limited today, but still I made it, went yesterday also. Not sure about tommorow, Have to take the Jeep in for the smog repairs. YAY! I got accepted by the Smog program that pays up to $500 of my repairs. So Im praying it gets fixed with the first repair and passes smog! Will find out tommorow. So not sure how long I will be without my vehicle.
Friday I have a counseling appt! I called today. Ill have to pay cash, and it was the woman I was seeing back before H and I started counseling there. Ive only seen her twice since the separation. But she was a cool lady.
Tonight when I picked up my oldest the young college guy came up to me and asked me if I was coming to church tonight. Awweee hes really really sweet. And he said how hard he practiced and that he would be singing. I feel so bad, I want to go, but like I said I dont wanna dress up to go and dress the kids to go. Maybe its just a lame excuse. But its one of those places where you feel like an outsider if you arent dressed up. I just wanna stay in my jeans. And then the kids, they both feel out of place already, my oldest wants a tie, cause all the kids wear them.
So I feel bad, he was so eager to share with me he would be singing and I felt it sweet he asked me if I would be there tonight.
I have torn motivation about church and things at the moment.
IF I had someone to stay home with the kids and could wear my jeans, I would go, Honest! :)
