Well the oldest found the $1 later on when he got home, and lets just say he was VERY happy and smiling. Saying he needs one more $1 to buy this toy he wants. So whew, I skated thru that one!
I crawled in bed before 10pm last night! Im a night owl. So I watched another one of those tv dateline type programs. Believe it was 48 hrs. I had watched a Dateline 2 hr special about a guy who went off to Vietnam, and dissapeared, declared MIA and all. And then 25 yrs later found. It went thru the whole story of what happened, his reuniniting with his kids, former wife, Mom, the military for deserting. It was the most fascinating story.
So last night was some story of a husband who was murdered, and who did it. The wife was convicted, she maintains her innocense. But her two sons went on trial against her, and later on the wifes attorney believed it was the daughter who killed her father, but she used her ammendment right not to speak so she could not be put on the stand. All they could read was a letter she wrote to her father a year prior where she was very angry and saying she needed to protect herself from him. Damn this stuff is interesting.
Its just amazing now how complex cases can get. And you dont really know at times. I mean its like this woman didnt have a motive really they said, and then you sat and had to watch the OJ trial and he was found not guilty with shoe and blood evidence, clothing, etc. Same stuff with this woman, but so much was questionable, yet she got 25yrs to life. I dont get this stuff at times.
Just got info for some more free movie stuff in Hollywood coming in Feb. So browsing thru the list to see what I wanna go see. Showing bunch of old films on the big screen. Cabaret is one, Ive never seen that. Well pretty much everything they will be showing Ive never seen except the Little Princess with Shirley Temple. They are going to be showing Moulin Rouge also from 1952.
Well I just made an appointment for a manicure. My second one ever! HA! I have nice nails and take care of them but why not get pampered now and then? Plus she does a paraffin hand dip and hand massage with it. Which is good for my hands. So I get to go Wed!
