This past year has had its challenges... but doesn't every journey of learning and growth?
I started out really focusing on feelings side of things…. the Cups of life, the emotions I needed to explore, the lessons hidden in reflection and vulnerability.
It was intense at times but it was necessary. I learned its okay to be vulnerable - its strength not weakness. I also learnt patience, that I should always trust my own inner voice and most importantly I learnt self compassion.
Then a greater clarity began to emerge … the Swords…. the thinking part, the moments of insight and understanding. When I stepped back looked at what I’d learned, things began to make more sense. I started to see patterns and possibilities, making sense of the highs and lows and figuring out what I actually wanted. That clarity was just as important as all the feeling…
Thinking clearly and feeling deeply aren’t opposites; they complement each other. Insight works best when paired with discernment and emotional awareness thrives when guided by understanding.
Now, I feel like I’m finally in a space where the head and the heart are both doing their thing, working together rather than at odds. My training, the practice, the lessons I’ve learned… they’re settling in.
Temperance feels like the right word: balance, integration, calm. Strength and The Star remind me that I’ve got this, that I can move forward with confidence and hope.
When I asked, “head or heart?” I already knew the answer. Both.
My head keeps me grounded and focused. My heart keeps me inspired and authentic. They are aligned and I feel ready to follow where they lead.
This feels like a good milestone to pause and recognise: I’ve done the work, learnt what I needed and built the balance within myself. And now, I can move forward, open to whatever the universe brings trusting that the path, in all its twists and turns, will unfold exactly as it should………
