Kim had been my best friend, cohort in TPing crime and roommate for several years in my temerarious youth. Many a trip to Rocky Horror Picture Show was attended together. Birthday kidnappings (including mine which she spearheaded on my 16th birthday) were conducted together. Several crank calls to the pay phone outside the door of the bar across the street from the apartment we shared were placed under the cover of darkness. Swimming parties coinciding with Drum Corps activities at either of our houses factored into our summers in which we marched with Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps. The key focus of these parties was to push as many people into the water as you could. Extra points if they were fully clothed were allotted to the revelers.
It's not the best photo, but this pic shows Kim in the blue & white '81 shirt, a friend Mike (whom Hubby and I still run into every summer) and my SIL (Hubby's sis, a.k.a. PinkSpiritLady) during our trip to Montreal Quebec in 1981.

I haven’t heard from Kim in several years, and was thrilled to get the e-mail from her. With luck, I will connect with her on the phone tonight.
I place great value on friends, new and old. Friends and family are without a doubt what I treasure the most. I’m off to make a phone call now.
