This, That, The Other & A Pity-Party
Wed Jun 16 2004

I was just thinking this morning that this is the last week the kids are in school. They do have to go for their last day on Monday, which is only a half a day. I'm not sure why the schools are even bothering. I'm fairly sure there will be a very low percentage of students that actually go.

Last night I dangled the carrot in front of #1 & #2 again. I showed them the picture of the TV I would be getting for them if they have brought up their grades. They are both quite excited about it, but nervous that they really only have this week to make up the points.

For me this will again be an errand day. Besides errands I continue to dwell on thoughts of a part time job for the summer. Hubby disagrees, but every time I do bills I think more and more strongly about it. I hate living paycheck to paycheck, barely having enough to pay the bills. Forget about putting $$ into savings, silly things like groceries and gas take priority.

OK, I’m done with my pity party. Time to go find chocolate and watch a Hugh movie.

Sounds like that last day is just there to make a state required minimum or something.
