I can't wait to see the next Harry Potter. I'm twenty-three, gonna be twenty-four, and terribly entertained by those books... I'd have lost it on that woman though. You're more patient then I.. I have a stock statement I say to people that insist on talking around me during a movie.. "Excuse me, but I came here to watch this movie and listen to THEIR dialogue. If you're going to talk through the entire film please let me know now so that I can move....." Usually it shuts them up but if I don't think it will I add, "Into the lobby to get an usher to speak with you about theatre etiquette." I usually say it loud enough that those around us can hear as well.. On one occasion I got APPLAUSE..

It's a fun experience going to the theatre, but I do so much enjoy watching a movie at home without all the annoyance, and the ability to hit the pause when you have to go pee. Some movies are just simply better at the theatre though.

Thanks for the tip on the Alpaca web site. I have much research to do on the subject, but I do so hope to eventually own some of them. I don't want them for show, but mainly for the fun of having them around and possibly selling their wool.

When I got my notify for the Potter entry, my first thought was that it would make a great title for the next book in the series!

    I LOVE Harry Potter.
When I first heard of him, I could not figure out was all of the fuss was about. Now I know. One can get 'hooked' on those books and movies.
    I have done both.

At the theater, I would not have paid to see the movie and not get to enjoy it. I would have said something to the Lady and/nor moved. Or I would have asked for my ticket back for another show time. It was rude on that lady's part.
That is one reason I watch these movies at home, plus we can have all of the popcorn, candy and drinks that we want! :)
