Saturday? Yep, Saturday.

I can hardly believe it’s here already. It seems like only yesterday was Monday. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WEEK?

I’ve got a plateful of homework to attend to, but I’m trying to knock out a few loads of laundry first. The kids were complaining that they had no socks and underwear. Hmm, they should’ve thought of that when I asked them repeatedly during the week to bring in any laundry they wanted or needed to have washed. Their failure to bring me any laundry prior to today has resulted in their current experience of what it is like to go commando. Oh well, new experiences are good for them.

I find myself in an extremely lethargic state this morning. At my doc’s appointment yesterday I was chastised for drinking too much caffeine. I’ve been awake for about 3 or 4 hours so far with no caffeine makes for a tired and grumpy Allimom. That is probably why everyone in the family is avoiding me this morning, go figure.

I’m going to see if going out and planting a tree will help to reverse this mood. It’s a small tree, and only going into a planter, so it should go quickly. If that doesn’t work, I’m making a store run for chocolate. That is guaranteed to work.

The kids and Hubby are currently huddled together planning out meals for their camping trip. Listening to them is making me hungry. Right now they are discussing making nachos and what all they want on them. The more they talk, the hungrier I get. Maybe a Taco Bell run is in order too. OK, maybe not. Maybe I’ll just convince them that we should practice making nachos tonight for dinner so they know how. They might buy it.

OK, I just tried it out on Hubby, and his reply was (insert extremely sarcastic tone here)”Nice Try!” I’ll try it out on the kids in a little bit and see if they fall for it.

Good luck - and have a cup of coffee, one won't hurt. Doctors don't know EVERYTHING mind you.

Any suggestions to what I can fix for dinner? It's after 3 o'clock here, time for me to get planning.

    oh goodie. bleh.

I would DEFINATELY go with twice as many sweet peas along the fence.

;o) I just loved the progression you made - "Haggis! Hoagies!" Then I was thinking "a haggis hoagie?" and that was way more than I needed to be thinking about. And if you HAD liked haggis, a haggis hoagie probably just ruined the concept.

I might dye the wool today, in koolaid. Not sure, haven't decided but maybe I will.

    Hey Alli! Happy Easter!
Thanks for the nice comment regarding Jinco. I'm still feeling down, but better.
Re Survivor, Lex most certainly got screwed. I caught him on the morning show and he said that he and Kathy talked about her keeping the immunity necklace, it was editing that made him look shocked.
Hope your Easter is filled with chocolate, NOT homework.

There's such a thing as too much caffeine?
