Ah yes, this happened to me tonight. They are always stupid little mistakes too, like thinking about doing something, then failing to do it.
Oh well. I don't think I did well on the test, but three different folks have said I'm too critical of myself and I undoubtedly did better than I think I did. Boy I sure hope so, because I think I flunked it.
I made a point of going in really early and giving myself as much time to do it as possible. We normally have about 2.5 hours to take tests, I gave myself (and used all of it) 4 hours.
Admittedly I'm really slow at this. It is not unusual for it to take me a few hours to just do one problem. Albiet most problems have several parts to them, including drawing out the graph of the function, but it still takes me more than twice as long as it takes other folks.
I've also decided I'm going to contact the Catholic church and nominate for Sainthood the person who invented the eraser. This person needs to be the patron saint of math students. At the very least, this person needs to be my patron saint.
I suppose you actually have to be Catholic to have a sliver of a chance of this getting through. Oh well, it was a good idea.
