Valentines Day
Sat Feb 14 2004

For it being Valentines Day today, we didn't do much in observation of it. Oh sure, there was the obligatory exchange of chocolate and that was it.

We did however, spend several hours torturing #3. Mom, Dad, Hubby and I went to the Home Show, and took #3 with us. #1 & #2 spent the day at home playing video games.

We saw lots and lots of different booths for windows, siding, roofing, and so forth. I would say of the 5100 aisles of booths, each aisle had at least two of each of these booths.

#3 of course thinks the tractor's and riding mowers were the best thing there.

What we really liked was the Wall Beds NW booth. The one we saw there had a complete computer desk that folded down into the bed. If we ever do have a house built in the future, we considered having two of these put side by side in the "den" so we have two comfortable beds for visitors. Or a place where the kids can stay if they "move back in" after they move out.

It sure would beat the mattresses on the floor we used for my bro & SIL last night!

Mmm, mattress. Bed. Sleep sounds good right about now.

I'm getting one those! Or rather the house is. I really didn't want a fifth bedroom in the offchance that someone might be visiting and have to spend the night so we are packing the office and the guest room into the same space. Amazing things huh?
