That's when I came across this site. Based on what we were currently budgeting for our debt payment, we had determined it would take approximately 30 months to be debt free. With this handy duty tool, I found a way to do it in 15 months.
I like it!
Side bar here, this does not include our vehicle payments. We are only paying on one vehicle at this time, but we have 2 vehicles that will likely need replacing around the time, or very shortly after (I'm praying not before) we have our van paid off. That is about the same time that the twins will be starting to drive.
That is, they will be starting to drive if they can get their grades up to at or above a B average. They have already been informed that if they do not have and maintain this average, they don't drive. Period. There is NO negotiation on this AT ALL. They were dismayed to discover that they don't just have to get it to a B and then let it drop after they get their licenses. If their grades drop, they forfeit their licenses and keys to me until they have it back up and have maintained it up for more than one report card term.
I'm such a mean Mom.
