We got back from the skating rink to find power out all over the neighborhood. While we scrambled around in the house to open all the windows and get some semblance of light in the place, the kids bemoaned the fact that they would not be able to play any of the games. The twins were particularly dejected as for their birthday we have allowed them to have access to all otherwise forbidden electronic items. Total bummer that they are allowed to have it, but don't have a way to power it up and use it!
In other news….
When Hubby got back the other day, we opened the Christmas gift from his sis. It is totally adorable. It is a Taz Animated Phone. When it rings, he waves his arms around, his eyes roll, there is grunting and growling then speaks one of several phrases.
My personal favorite phrase is How 'bout a kiss?
