The one major thing we both agree on is our next hot water heater for our Someday home. This is what we want to have. We had one when we lived in Japan, and next to the heated toilet seat and swimming pool bathtub, this was our favorite thing about the house we had there.
It was wonderful to never run out of hot water; we could luxuriate in showers that seemed to last forever, then go wash dishes. Of course in Japan the price for the fuel to run the thing was lofty, but it was SO worth it!!!
Another thing that I am more adamant about than Hubby is the bathtub. Again in Japan we discovered the wonders and joys of the bathtubs they had there. They were deep. I'm talking seriously deep. The twins were 2 years old when we were in the house, and when they stood up in the bathtub, the rim was a good 2 or 3 inches taller than their heads. This is actually where the twins first started to learn how to swim. After bathing, it was play time. Hubby or I would get in with them to be safe, we would fill it up and let the twin's baby-paddle around the tub, giggling to their hearts content and wearing themselves out for a good sleep that night. Unfortunately for #3 we moved from Japan before he was old enough to enjoy this pastime.
While Someday dreaming is enjoyable, it is time for me to get back to today's laundry and homework awaiting my attention.
