It's Time To Play....

LET'S GO TO SLEEP!!!!

Ah yes, once again I will be rushing off to the world of the incoherent as soon as the boys go off to school. 21 minutes and counting, I can't wait!!

Meanwhile…. #3 is industriously wrapping a gift for a friend's birthday party this afternoon, #1 is procrastinating getting dressed for the day, and #2 is pestering #1. I did manage to separate them with a crowbar and some blasting caps, so they are kind of on track now. Hopefully.

Only 5 days until Hubby comes home. I'm very ready for him to be home. I'm hoping to be able to head over to school earlier on my school days so I can get together with the other guy in my class and hopefully get some things clarified.

I heard some whispers in the news last night that sounded like the possibility of snow this weekend. I'm making sure the kids don't hear about it yet! I don't want to have three disappointed boys on my hands this early in the morning. On a side note, if the kids don't have too much homework this weekend, I might run down to visit my brother for the day. I probably won't know if I'm going until tonight, so I'm going to put that thought on the back burner until then.

The big task in front of me today? Shampooing carpets, doesn't that sound fun? NOT. One of the kids tracked some mud in this morning after running out in the yard to check and see if he needed to wear a coat today. It seems my telling him repeatedly that it was cold and rainy was not good enough, he had to see for himself.

I should call my mom and see if I was that difficult at this age. I don't remember being so, but I'm too close to the subject to give an unbiased answer.

Shampooing carpets. Yet another reason I sing the praises of apartment life.

Now I'm left wondering if carpets need conditioner after the shamppo.

Oh man. I don't know what I'd have done if I couldn't have trusted the kids to actually stay asleep once they were! My granddaughter has ADHD, and is often up in the middle of the night, and her medication makes it even worse. I suggested giving her chocolate covered coffee beads as a bedtime snack, which works for some.

Have you always had that music on your page? I usually have the speakers turned off, and couldn't believe my ears when "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" started playing. You wouldn't by any chance have the words, too, would you?

    Hugs and good weather!
