This will be another go back to bed morning. As soon as I know the bus has come and gone, and none of the kids missed it, I am back to slumberland to catch up on the few hours I missed at the beginning of last night.
Have I mentioned it that I really like it that I'm not working right now so I have the capability of doing the morning slumber routine? No? Well, let it be considered to have been stated now.
Don't get me wrong, I REALLY miss working. I miss interaction with other adults on a daily basis. I don't really get that now unless I have to go to the school when one of the kids get in trouble, and that is adult conversation I would rather not have!
I miss being surrounded by co-workers to joke around with and have fun. I miss gleaning information I would otherwise not be privvy to from the people around me. While I enjoy being with and talking with my kids, conversations about Britney Spears is just not as satisfying as political discussions. The wonders of Sponge Bob Square Pants is just not as titillating as discussing local and world events. Talking about Hillary Duff is just not as satisfying as talking about Hugh Jackman.
OK, the last one was a given.
