Sleeping The Day Away
Sun Jan 04 2004

Today, I slept until 2 in the afternoon. It was wonderful.

Just to set things straight, it's not like I was in bed all last night and today. Since Hubby has to go back to work tomorrow I'm giving him a couple nights of undisturbed sleep. I stayed out in the living room until he woke up this morning at 7, then went in and immediately fell into a wonderfully deep, undisturbed sleep.

While out here all night, I was unable to sleep, so I alternated between surfing the web and watching whatever cheezy show I could find on TV.

Did you know that between midnight Saturday night and 7:00 Sunday morning, THERE IS NOTHING ON!!! The only exception to there being "nothing" on, is the paid programming. I now know more about some type of exercise thingey called a Gazelle than I ever wanted to know. I also can tell you about this lotion stuff that is supposed to reduce the signs of aging, that supposedly is giving women and men in Hollywood an alterntive to plastic surgery. Amd let's not forget the new towel gizmo that works far better than every paper towel in the world, and does not drip after you mop up a mess.

I definitely need to get to the library before doing this again. If I'm going to be up all night, I definitely want some decent reading material.

Ah, sleep! Wonderful stuff. Especially if it's undisturbed, but when you have a bladder like mine, well....

I was having the weirdest dream this morning, all mixed up, crazy (not my usual type), and just as I was about to find out the time/place the ship was leaving to bring me home, the dream ended because my bladder was demanding more attention that the conclusion of the dream. Grump!!

    Shalom
