#2 started out the day with a very low grade fever, but has been normal now without the assistance of Tylenol for a couple hours. I forsee him being back in school tomorrow much to his chagrin. I think #1 will be thrilled to have his twin back with him at school though. I know that I will be thrilled to be able to get the house cleaned without worrying if I'm making too much noise. Mostly it will be nice to be able to sit down and do some homework uninterrupted.
Hmm, come to think of it, I don't think I will be uninterrupted. The Service guy is supposed to be here some time tomorrow to fix the washer. After that I will be doing laundry. LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of laundry. I usually do 2 or three loads a day (depending on if we changed sheets that day). Other than doing bits & pieces by hand, I haven't been able to do laundry in about a week. The mountain of laundry has completely obliterated the laundry area of my house. I haven't seen out the window in that room since about noon Tuesday.
Having your washing machine break when you have a sick kid in the house is... a bitch to say the least.
I had my first test last night. I don't even want to think about it. I got spoiled from my last two teachers and the style of tests they gave. They tended to take problems directly from the homework or practice tests, change out some numbers and give it as a test. This teacher doesn't do that. Well not exactly. There was one problem from the homework. The rest, I have absolutely NO idea how I did. There was a no-calculator portion of the test, and some problems on there I thought would be on the calculator portion. I'm pretty sure I got those wrong. The rest, I'm waiting until Monday to find out. I got home last night and hoped to look through my homework and compare with what I remembered doing, with what my notes and homework said. I opened my books, and my brain went numb. I couldn't remember more than 2 of the problems that I did.
Oh well, maybe Monday will be a pleasant surprise?
