I've been trying to buy my book for my next class for a few days. For inexplicable reasons, the book store has been closed due to Computer Upgrades.
I find it pathetic that many people have become so dependent on computers that they are unable to do things manually. Admittedly I suffer from this in some aspects of my life, but why can't the store keep written records until the system is back up? They have a regular cash register in there, why can't they use that?
I suppose I wouldn't bitch as much if the campus I need to buy my book store was closer and easier to get to. Construction and detours have made the trip interesting at best.
Ah well, hopefully it will resolve itself and the store will open up again soon.
