A Day In The Life

Here where I live, there is some new road construction that started today. The main exit from this area is closed off, with traffic re-routed to a few other smaller arterial roads. A week ago the news paper warned us to expect increased commute time due to this. Increased was definitely an understatement. I think traffic from hell would have been a more appropriate description.

I was suppposed to go to a study group this afternoon at about 5ish. We try to study at the school at the same time there is a math lab going on so if we have problems we can consult with the teachers for clarification.

At about 4 I ran an errand that should have taken 30 minutes at the most under normal circumstances. It took me almost 3 hours.

Shit.

I was supposed to be working on homework and studying for my final that I have tomorrow. While I don't think I'm totally screwed now, I do know that I will be sweating a lot harder than I otherwise would have been doing.

Shitshitshit.

I'm now e-mailing the folks that normally go there asking about several problems I had questions about, hoping they puzzled them out and can shed some light on it for me.
