Free day? Not.
Thu Sep 25 2003

I thought today was the first day of the week free from appointments. Then I looked at the calendar. Rather than having to go pick up one of the kids and shuttle them, today is my turn to go see the doc. Yippie.

I would love to take my homework to go over it, but I need LOTS of room to spread out when I do my homework. I have 2 books, 2 notebooks, homework papers, and a third notebook in which I do the homework. Such an entourage is not conductive in a doctor's office waiting room! Oh well, I'll use that as break time and read some more Clancy.

The kids are FINALLY off to school. This morning was more than amusing getting them out of bed and ready for the day. For whatever reason they all had problems falling asleep last night, so waking up this morning was difficult at best. We all managed to survive it, and now I need to face the music of the day and go shower and change. Maybe that will help to wake me up so I'm alert enough to comprehend my homework.

If not I've got a whole case of diet Dr. Pepper that will do the trick!

Well, you could do what my stepfather did when I had troubles getting up. Whichever of my brothers got up first before me .... got to bring the water glass up to wake me up. ;-)

Only took once to convince me.
