Meanwhile, I got a note from 2 of #2's teachers yesterday. It seems that he is currently getting an F in Math and Science, and a D in Social Studies. I will be getting all of his missing assignments today and tomorrow and he will be a homework slave this weekend. He seems to be getting A's in his other classes. Grades seem to be feast or famine for him. #1 is having the same problems in the same classes. What is the deal here? Why is it that they can't remember to turn in the homework they have done, and why don't they do some of the other homework. It's not like both of them aren't checked for homework daily. #2 gets mad that he has to re-do so much of the work he already did. You would think he would learn from this and remember to turn it in the next time, but NooOOoo. I think Craftsman needs to come out with a hammer for kids heads to help parents get the idea into their thick skulls.
I had the strangest dream last night. I think the sounds of the rain outside provoked it. In my dream, a naked midget was running up and down in front of the houses on my street, jumping up to look in all the windows and yelling that the rain was cold. Very strange.
