I don't like confrontations...
Tue Sep 16 2003

All three of the boys have homework this afternoon. #3 has been working on his for almost 4 hours now. Originally there was perhaps 30 - 45 minutes worth of homework. I made sure to give him his afternoon ADHD meds, and he still has not managed to do even 1/4 of what is there.

His mind has required quite a bit of stimulation today.

He was told that if he had it done he could go to gymnastics this afternoon. Since the class ended 10 minutes ago, and he is still working on his first assignment, I don't think he will make it.

As for #1 & #2, they both have to type a one page autobiography on themselves, and do one paragraph opinion on some things that have been going on in their class. They have only been working on this for 2 hours, and I think they both might be 1/3 of the way through.

I hate this. Hubby is out of town, the kids aren't done with their homework, and I have to leave for my class in an hour. I would like to have gone knowing that they were either done, or would still work on the homework for a short time while I was gone. I know better.

My goal for today has changed from getting them through all of their homework, to getting them at least half way done or at the very least through with one of their assignments before I leave.

It might get done.

Really!

Stop laughing.
