It was again a 25 question quiz. We had to answer 20 of the questions, and I answered 24. I'm banking on at least some of those 4 helping to keep my numbers up.
There was another thing that came up Monday that has all of us students irked. On the first night of class, our instructor told us that his tests and quizzes would be 25 questions, we only had to do 20, and any done above and beyond that would be given as extra credit.
Monday he amended that. It seems our class average is much higher than any class he has ever had. Of the first quiz and test, the lowest score was an 80, with the class average around 92 or so. He decided we don't need the extra credit points and therefore won't be allotting extra credit on anything but the final. Even that has a "but" attached to it. The last class we have before the final we will have a practice test. Any points we earn on that we will be able to take to the final with us. There will be 25 problems worth 1 point each. The final will again be 25 questions, we will only be required to do 20 and again anything above and beyond that will not be counted.
I'm sorry, but how can he change this policy he told us about 2 weeks before the end of the term? Can someone 'splain that to me? I'm bugged that the extra points I got on the first quiz now seem to be worthless. RRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!
Have I mentioned before that this teacher bugs me? I'm talking epic proportion bugging here.
