A Day In The Life

#1 is in summer school due to his... inattentiveness at school this last year. It came as no surprise to him as I told him if his grades were not acceptable he would be going. You would think it may have hinted to him that we actually wanted him to do the school work. Evidently not.

He has been getting progress reports, but hiding them from us. Well, I found them yesterday. For some reason, he has chosen to not do most of the assignments he has had. Due to this, his grades are such that he REALLY needs to buy a vowel.

I took him to school today and spoke with each his teachers (deciding to bypass the front office that has been giving me the run around in trying to get one meeting with everyone). #1 has now lost the field trip he should have had tomorrow. Instead I will be picking him up and bringing him home to do homework. He has another field trip scheduled for next Thursday. If he does not have all of his work done, he won't be going on that one either.

I figure with enough duct tape and a taser we can get him to do all of his missing assignments by next Monday.

OK, I'm just kidding about the taser.

Oh alright, and the duct tape.
